Flavors and Fullness.

My trip back home to LA for a week was much needed. It was therapeutic, refreshing, and chalk full of food.

One place in particular really nestled its way into my heart. Flavor of India in West Hollywood is a hidden gem. The food was lovely, but the decor took me into a different place. When you walk in, it looks like your typical restaurant: tables, chairs, what not.

I followed my friend towards a small table in the corner next to a fountain, but as we walked further in, flashes of color and natural light nudged my periphery. I looked to my left, gasped and asked her if we could sit over there instead. We settled down into a cozy little corner, and instantly I felt my spirit begin to lift.

It's things like this that you cannot take for granted. These seemingly "little" things play such a huge role in the shifting of our moods, minds, and states of being. It's moments like these where I thank God that I remember to bring my camera with me.  I didn't do any editing or use flash on these photos. The light in this place was absolutely breath taking.

Flavor of India, thank you for your wholesome food and your wholesome space.

Love.
